The Best Blender

The Best Blender.
The Best Blender
This high-powered blender is the unequivocal best, as concluded by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute after rigorous testing of blending ability, ease of use, and features. During tests it chopped ice cubes and pesto ingredients into a smooth puree in seconds. Unlike other blenders with inadequate blade radii that allow food to fall into the crevices of the pitcher and leave some ingredients unblended, this one has staggered, extra-wide blades that are contoured to the base of the pitcher and create a powerful vortex as the blades spin, ensuring all ingredients are drawn into the blades and thoroughly pured. The industrial-strength stainless steel blades crush and liquefy in seconds, powered by a motor that generates 750-watts, more than one horsepower. The blender has seven cycles that allow you to gently emulsify a vinaigrette or pure soups with a commercial food processor's vigor, and the unit has two pre-programmed settings (ice crush and smoothie) that automatically adjust the blending time and speeds for optimal results. The blender has the most features of all tested, including a pitcher, lid, and blades that are top shelf dishwasher-safe, a jar handle that can be positioned on the left or right side of the base, and an easy-to-read LCD that shows time remaining in a cycle. The blender has a rugged die-cast metal base and non-skid feet that provide stability and a 54-oz. glass pitcher that is sturdy, yet light enough to allow confident pours. 17" H x 8" W x 8" D. (11 1/3 lbs.)
