The Best Immersion Blender

The Best Immersion Blender.
The Best Immersion Blender.
This immersion blender was rated best by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute after rigorous testing of blending ability, ease of use, comfort, and features. During tests, its powerful 550-watt motor and stainless steel blades chopped raw almonds and cashews into a fine paste and thoroughly blended cookies, ice cream, and milk into a creamy, smooth milkshake, while lesser models with inferior blade designs left some ingredients unblended. The blender scored highest for ease of use because it has five attachments (chopping blade, beater, aerator blade, mincing blade, and French whisk) that are easily affixed to mince a variety of foodstuffs, unlike other immersion blenders with only one or two attachments. The blender has a slim handle and it produces limited vibrations, ensuring optimal comfort when held for long periods. The unit has a stainless steel stem and blades, and a turbo button allows you to instantly increase blending power. Includes a plastic beaker, a wall-mountable bracket, and a container that attaches to the immersion blender and turns the unit into a small food processor. Plugs into AC. 16" H x 2" W x 2" D. (3 lbs.)
