Renée Zellweger Admits Her Food Vice

When it comes to food vices, Renée Zellweger says hers is pasta. Sweets? She can take them or leave them, but rich Italian dishes with veggies and meat twirling in a delicate sauce atop a luscious pasta, well she has no resistance.

"I am a constant 110 pounds. I don't like eating sweets at all, but give me pasta in Rome and I'm like nobody's business," she confessed to Bang Showbiz. "I love it."

Her favorite thing to do after she's dined on pasta? Stay home and spend time with friends. Traveling to exotic movie locations with assistants to help her ever need and desire isn't as much fun as just hanging out at home. "I know. It's terrible not to be impressed by being spoilt rotten, but spoilt rotten to me is sleeping on my best friend's couch because I love having private moments with people that are real. That's just how I'm made," she told Bang Showbiz.

Pasta Chitarra

A traditional instrument for cutting fresh pasta sheets, the chitarra (KEY-tarra) has ancient origins in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Master handcrafters from Pretoro hand-string two sets of zinc-coated steel wires on the varnished ashwood box. One side yields evenly cut fettuccine, and the opposite side, delicate angel hair. Clean with brush. Do not use water. Faithful mate to the chitarra is the rolling pin that helps flatten the dough and then press and cut it through the wires. For best results, we recommend this 20" French-style beechwood rolling pin.
