Krups XP1020 Espresso Machine Only $49.00 at J&R
Most of the higher priced espresso makers use pump driven mechanisms to deliver espressos. If you're seeking a simple one-cup espresso or cappuccino, the steam-driven espresso machine is more affordable and requires less maintenance. With no pump, it's more compact. Yet there's virtually no compromise in flavor and aroma. Sized for use at work or home, the Krups XP1020 may just be that simple little espresso machine you've been looking for as an easy alternative to typical American coffee.
•Easy to operate steam machine
•Large capacity carafe with lid and handle is ideal for preparation of popular espresso drinks and keeps espresso warm while frothing milk to make cappuccinos and lattes
•Steam nozzle quickly froths milk and is easily controlled by oversized dial
•Removable drip tray for easy cleanup
•Compact size takes up little counter space

It was so easy to set up - you just take it out and use it. The only problem was that on the second use (we tried to make two lattes, so use the steamer twice and make a large shot of espresso), the pressure built up and it 'exploded' - by that I mean that it just popped and coffee grounds went everywhere. That has happened with a really expensive one in a restaurant that I worked at before, so I don't think it is entirely the machine's fault - it is just always a worry whether there is too much pressure.
Otherwise, after a week, it is fine. And the coffee is definitely delicious.
